EDMC: Continuing education extension
Those applying to renew their Elevating Devices Mechanic certificate in early 2021 have encountered barriers to completing their continuing education requirements.
These barriers include:
Proposed fee changes: Share your feedback
Elevating clients: request an inspection online
Elevating clients can now use My Account to request an inspection by clicking on the permit for which you’d like to book an inspection. This feature allows clients to easily attach documents and send the request directly to the safety officer in their area.
Design reg. portal available for all clients
The design registration portal is now available for all clients, including those in the passenger ropeways and amusement devices industries. Using the portal, clients can enjoy a faster turnaround time for their submissions, easily find the form they need, and track the status of their submissions. Clients can also communicate directly with the responsible engineer.
