Mechanic-in-Training: Training programs
Apprenticeship training programs
If you’re a Mechanic-in-Training, you will need to enroll in a recognized training program. To one day become certified as an Elevating Devices Mechanic, applicants must successfully complete the training program for their respective class. In some cases, they must also complete supplementary education.
The table below provides details on recognized training programs in BC.
Note that when renewing your Mechanic-in-Training certificate of qualification, you must provide proof of successful progression through your chosen training program. This is required at the time of annual renewal.
